The Veterinary Emergency Service (TBVES) is available for emergency medical and surgical care of all pets: dogs, cats, birds and exotics. The facility has a fully equipped laboratory, radiology suite, and surgical suite to provide quick and accurate diagnosis and treatment. TBVES is prepared to treat serious injuries and illnesses with a full staff of veterinarians and technicians to help your pet. The staff at TBVES has been trained for these emergencies and critical care situations. Tampa Bay Veterinary Emergency Service hours of operation Monday through Friday from 6pm to 8am, Saturday from 8am through 8am on Monday, and 24-hour service on the holidays. The emergency service is available for walk-ins, referrals and emergencies. Fees The charges at TBVES are dependent upon the severity of the pet's condition. All clients are responsible for the exam and emergency fee. The doctors will provide an estimate for services before the pet is treated. If a pet becomes hospitalized a deposit is always required. All forms of payment are accepted including all major credit cards, checks and cash.
